Update:  Pictured floating around the ring above, Blaze entered her first show at almost three years of age.  She looks pretty good for never having been to a show or handling class.  Way to go Blaze and special thanks to Meagan Thomas for handling.

At almost three years of age, Blaze has never been bred and we have no breeding plans for her at this time.

Blaze is a tall and very agile girl, especially for her height as, in my experience, the more agile dogs are usually smaller.  She is solid muscle and very strong.  When she was eleven months old she weighed 96 pounds but at two and a half she is much larger and weighs 84 pounds as all of the baby meat has turned solid.  She has a excellent coat, especially for being an Arizona dog, and a double curl tail.  She is JR's niece and Dan's half sister.

Blaze is a high energy and especially playful dog.  She has a great personality and maybe a bit too much of it :-)  She gets along well with male Akitas and some female Akitas.  She can be in a group unless someone instigates problems with her.  She also gets along well with male and female Shibas and LOVES LOVES LOVES any kind of puppy.  As I don't have children, her contact with them is limited, but when I take her out children on many occasions have run to her without their parents and grabbed her face and hugged her and she turns to wiggles and giggles with excitement.  When it comes to humans, Blaze is just a lover, there is no better way to describe her, she loves them all big and small!
