CH MIASIA MISTY ROSE

ABOUT MISTY:  Misty is the total Shiba in my opinion and a true ambassador to the breed.  Her father in in the top twenty ranked Shibas nationwide.  She is the mother of Sam and half sister of Oki as well as aunt to Sierra Z and Wasabi.  Not only is she a beautiful special in the show ring but she is an absolutely great pet!  Misty is a confident and proud girl which is obvious when you meet her and everyone that has met Misty, whether at my home or during out outings, instantly adores her.  She is happy and always smiling.  She is thrilled to be a couch potatoe but she is always up for a walk and if she sees me take out a leash or open the drawer that they are in she races me to the front door.  She walks with pride wherever we go.   She only lets really loose if someone wants to pet her in which case she is ready to sit in their lap.  If they are children, even better and she squeals with excitement and that is the only time that she pulls on the lead.  She is a good swimmer but would rather watch the goings on at the lake than to be in it but she does oblige in my joy of watching her swim.  She loves to go for rides.  She has a fan club at WellsFargo and Chic-Fil-A drive thrus.  She will greet tellers at the window and wait for some love and treats.  Her joy for the car is how I learned that she can be off lead.  I can open the gate and let her go and if she starts to wonder all I have to do to have total recall is open the car door, not saying a word, and she jets through to the passenger seat.  She is extremely even tempered.  She has been with many Shiba and Akita puppies, even that harass her.  She has been with three Shiba males and is fine with all and many many Akitas, both male and female, in groups as well.  During her second litter, she started to whelp while I was asleep and an experienced Akita mom helped her deliver and she was totally fine with it and even seemed appreciative.  She is an excellent mother, very caring and protective but not overly so.  If I can reproduce Misty in looks and demeanor then I am one happy camper!!!
