Oki is my heart dog, what else can I say!?  Oki came out to me specifically to use for stud and return home to his breeder BUT.... that is just where our story begins.  Oki fell just in much in love with me as I did him and ultimately, his breeder, and my friend, Rhonda Sluder, allowed me to purchase Oki from her, even though he was also her favorite, because we are so happy together.  Oki is a different dog here and Rhonda wanted him to stay this happy rather than returning to kennel life.  It was the best decision for us all and we are happy to have him.  Oki sleeps with me, usually on top of me.  He is a total love.  He is constantly on my lap as any of you have seen who have talked to me via webcam.  If I stop petting Oki, even while he is in my lap, he paws at my hands to remind me to continue.  He loves children and likes to sit in their lap as well.  Oki is not obnoxious, just a loveable little man!

    As far as aesthetics go, Oki is the total Shiba package!  He is a total muscle man; his entire body is ripped and tight making him just as fast and agile as he is elegant in his movement.  He has a nice coat, great red color, perfect size in the middle of the standard and a perfect tail.   The only way to better Oki would be if he had slightly more coat.  This leads to his own brilliant show career as well as his ability to continually reproduce Champions:
